Helmet Spex

Helmet Spex is designed for athletes who prefer a sports protective goggle fit under their helmets.

Key design features help to reduce youth athlete's discomfort associated with wearing sports protective eyewear, while still maintaining peak vision performance under helmets.

The Helmet Spex includes a skull cap that must be worn over the goggle and under the helmet to keep the goggle in place.

FogBlok coating is recommended to be applied to every Rx to optimize performance.

Features:

• Helmet Spex has been designed to be the best fitting frame for sports that require a helmet (Football, Baseball, Lacrosse, Hockey, and others)
• Soft rubber end pieces mold to the face, offering additional cushioning at key contact points
• Adjustable goggle strap contours over the ears for a more comfortable fit
• Venting grooves in eye-rim for increased airflow

Standards:

Helmet Spex meets or exceeds ASTM F803 impact resistance for several sports.

Prescription Lenses:

This frame can be purchased with prescription lenses. For online orders, we offer single vision polycarbonate lenses with anti-reflective coating.

Customers also have the option of selecting the following customizations:

• Add Optifog® anti-fog coating to your lenses for clear vision under a wide range of indoor and outdoor environmental conditions
• Upgrade your lenses to Grey or Brown Transitions® to adapt seamlessly to changing light conditions

Sizing:

• A = the horizontal measurement of the lens
• B = the vertical measurement of the lens
• ED = Effective Diameter defines the minimum diameter lens that will fit a frame when the geometric center of the lens is exactly centered in the frame
• DBL = Distance Between Lenses or the bridge size
• All measurements in millimetres (mm)
